{"id":2363,"date":"2021-02-12T13:23:03","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T13:23:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pro-control.pl\/?post_type=realizacje&#038;p=2363"},"modified":"2022-01-19T13:09:57","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T13:09:57","slug":"modernization-system-of-monitoring-and-control-of-the-slitting-machine-in-the-aluminum-plant","status":"publish","type":"realizacje","link":"https:\/\/www.pro-control.pl\/en\/realizacja\/modernization-system-of-monitoring-and-control-of-the-slitting-machine-in-the-aluminum-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"Modernization system of monitoring and control of the slitting machine in the aluminum plant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2014, PRO-CONTROL Sp. z o.o. modernized the control system and control of the slitting line of the LW2 machine for the largest Polish manufacturer of aluminum products.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The production plant, apart from rolled products in the form of sheets and strips, is also the only Polish producer of primary metallurgical aluminum.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Purpose of the investment<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Wickeltechnik slitting line is designed for cutting cold-rolled coils of aluminum and its alloys into strips of the required dimensions. The cutting line control so far was carried out with the help of an old SIEMENS control system, based on the S5-135 controller. The modernization of the line consisted of the complete replacement of the existing controller with a modern DCS class PCS7 by SIEMENS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to adapt the machine to the current requirements of safety standards and regulations, and in particular to comply with the EU Machinery and Tool Directives, a safety audit was carried out and recommendations were included in the investment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the change of the system architecture to a modern distributed one, the control wiring in the facility was completely replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"241\" height=\"166\" src=\"https:\/\/pro-control.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/huta_Aluminium_Konin2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2116\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2555,"template":"","categories":[],"branza":[63],"uslugi":[65,66,68,71,73],"class_list":["post-2363","realizacje","type-realizacje","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","branza-heavy-industry-and-metallurgy","uslugi-consulting-and-engineering","uslugi-installation-and-start-up","uslugi-systems-migration","uslugi-simatic-pcs7-system","uslugi-scada-and-dcs-systems"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
